The Curry Sea Cucumber (Stichopus hermanni) is a tropical sea cucumber species that is commercially harvested in many countries. It is a member of the echinoderm family Stichopodidae.
Distribution: Indo-Pacific region.
Features: The body is long with a rectangular cross section and the underside is smooth. It is yellow in colour and covered in small black spots.
Habitat: Seagrass beds, sandy and rubble bottoms.
Depth range: Low tide to 25 metres.
Maximum Length: 50cm
